Bra Size Calculator
Most bra consultants at retail shops will make an important, often life altering decision based on a measuring tape and a bra size table. We believe this is why 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size and why clothes fit differently. We want to help you find your bra size as a starting point to your journey to finding bras that work for your unique body. Wearing the right bra size makes a big difference in how supported, comfortable and confident you feel. Many women wear the wrong size because they don’t know how to make decisions because of the lack of education. A Bra Size calculator should never be used as the only way to find supportive bras. We will always suggest a one-on-one fitting. We do however understand that not everyone will feel comfortable in such an intimate, private setting and for this reason we have created our own unique Bra Size Calculator, that debunks the misinformation on outdated bra size tables. Our bra size calculator shows you a good starting point by comparing your current size with what might fit better. Remember, every bust is unique, so this tool is just a guide.
Because breasts come in many shapes and sizes, we don’t advise choosing a life-changing bra just from a measuring tape assessment. The Liza Clifford bra calculator is designed to show you a likely better fit for your shape. Still, we advise booking a professional fitting to get the best results. A specialist will help you find the right bra size and design for your unique shape and body position.

MEASURE FOR BAND SIZE
Ensure your measuring tape has centimeters as our Bra Size Calculator is designed around centimeters. You want to place yourself in front of a mirror to ensure the tape is level around the rib cage and parallel to the floor when measuring. Now measure around your body directly below the lowest point of your breasts when your breast is not touching the top of your torso. This often requires some assistance. Tighten your straps as tight as they will go or ask your chosen assistance to lift your the straps to ensure you do not measure the band measurement around your waist. It needs to be as high as possible. Ensure the final number is in front of you so that you can easily see it.

MEASURE FOR CUP SIZE
Next, measure around the fullest part of your breast. Keep the tape straight across your back and not too tight or loose. This measurement will be larger than your band size. The difference between this measurement around your breast and your band size number helps find your cup size. The bigger the difference, the larger the cup. Use these numbers with a bra size chart to find your correct cup size.
FAQs
What is the difference between a professional fitting and self-measuring?
Measuring yourself is a great first step but can be tricky to get right. A professional fitting uses a tape as a starting point and then based on your breast shape and fullness and experience in the bras we offer to make the best decision for your body. Self measurements can be tricky and are often trivialised but it does take skill to know where to measure and at what tension.
Can I rely solely on the calculator for my perfect bra size?
The calculator helps you measure your bra size at home but it isn’t 100% accurate for everyone. Because every bust and body shape is different, we advise using the calculator as a start. Then, try bras on or book a fitting to be sure of your perfect fit.
Can different brands have different sizing?
Bra Brands are pretty consistent with the sizing, where it may be come confusing is when they offer their styles in different country sizes. UK, US and EU sizes (there are more but these are the main sizes). Most designers will offer different features that may require a sister size but there are not huge differences in different brands. Reputable bra services will know the different fits and advise accordingly.
Definitely. Our consultants are experts at product difference and will advise and fit bras for special needs like maternity, exercise, or other occasions. They help you find bras that support and fit comfortably, lift properly, and suit your unique shape.
Is this calculator accurate for plus-size or petite sizes?
Our calculator works well for most sizes, including plus and petite. Most petite shapes are smaller than a 32 and our Bra Size Calculator goes down to a 28. Because these sizes have unique fitting challenges, we advise booking a fitting. Our specialists know how to help you find bras that fit snugly and comfortably.
Do I need to wear a bra when measuring?
It’s best to measure with a non padded bra. Breast tissue is difficult to self measure if you do not know what to look for. A bra, no matter what the support, will contain breast tissue in one area making it easier to measure.
How to find the right bra for your breast shape?
Different breast shapes need different bra designs for the best support. A fitter looks at your bust size and shape and suggests bras that will offer the best fit. Trying different styles helps you find what works best for your body, however when there are especially trained consultants to make these decisions why would you want to frustrate yourself.
